Before / After

The two-track EP Before / After is the first release of new material from minimal sound artist Todd Stapleton since 2018 and represents the first original recordings in almost three years. During January and February of 2020, Todd recorded nearly four hours of material after a lengthy period of musical quiescence. The result is a fresh and organic synthesis of soundscapes, drones and sparse melodic composition, which gradually unfold to reveal a new yet familiar sense of ambience and beauty.
